A class of year 7 & 8 students who are looking forward to a year of new learning experiences.
The snow was amazing, I got hit in the face 3 times with snowballs, but it was really fun. I enjoyed flinging snowballs at my friends, I hope they didn't mind! But all in all it was amazing, the weather was good and it was enjoyed, (By me, and probably every one else who went.)
The Whakapapa snow trip was definitely enjoyed by every one, even if we had seen snow before! Up on top of the slope in the pictures, the snow was at least half a metre deep! People kept "loosing their legs!" and getting their shoes filled up with cold, icy snow! No matter how cold we got, we still had heaps of fun!
What I enjoyed most about the snow was the overall experience. I loved it because I got to see the smiles of the people who had never had an experience with snow before.
The funny bit was having the snow fight and going down the the snow and getting my bum wet
It was a great day to go to the snow.
It was an amazing experience being able to go to the snow, especially because we got to go with our friends. I really enjoyed throwing snowballs at my friends, (I know they enjoyed it to.)
Up to the snow trip. Snow every where and even snow balls every where. some of the class mats where caring. The rest where having fun. At the top when you walked very hard or run your feet will get stake.
The snow was very cold. I am glad that I was wearing the right clothing. My favourite part would be sliding down the hill.
Everyone had a lot of fun in the snow especially the people who had never touched the snow before. I know I loved the snow. The only thing I didn't like was snow balls thrown at me because I didn't want to get wet.
This was my first time in the snow and I LOVED it! I loved sliding down the little hill and building a mini snowman. I forgot my gloves so my hands were freezing, from that experiment I will remember my gloves any other time I visit the snow.
I'm really happy that I went Even though I had seen snow before It's different to go with your'e friends.
The snow was cold but I was very excited so i forgot that I was even cold I forgot my gavels so my fingers were froze as I touched the snow. Janelle
The cold snow was the best. Some snow was hard like ground It was also fun sliding down the ridge.
IT WAS FREEZING! The snow was so cold, good thing we all had appropriate clothing. Apart from the snow being super cold I had a good time. My favourite part was when I raced up the top and then accidentally slipped down. Overall I had an amazing time.
the things that I enjoyed most about was when marcise started to throw huge snow balls at me so I decided to make a snow ball twice the sise as his one and threw it whrite on the neck so all the snow went all down his back he was freezing after that.ha ha ha ha ha ha !!!!!!!
To get to Whakapapa and see all this snow, was definitely worth the wait even if we a face full of icy snow couldn't make us enjoy it less. The best part of it was the big slope, that when ever I ran up I got a leg stuck in between the rocks. But the advantage for hitting people with snowballs was all worth the time digging out.
At the snow up in Whakapapa Christine, eve and I slide down mini slopes and made a bunch of snowballs. My favourite part about the snow was amboshing people with snow balls.
It was my first time going to the snow, When I took my first step on the snow, It felt so differentThe thing I mostly like was having snow fights.
