Playing in the Snow

Wrapped up against the cold, we couldn't wait to get out into the snow and have some fun.

  1. The snow was amazing, I got hit in the face 3 times with snowballs, but it was really fun. I enjoyed flinging snowballs at my friends, I hope they didn't mind! But all in all it was amazing, the weather was good and it was enjoyed, (By me, and probably every one else who went.)

  2. The Whakapapa snow trip was definitely enjoyed by every one, even if we had seen snow before! Up on top of the slope in the pictures, the snow was at least half a metre deep! People kept "loosing their legs!" and getting their shoes filled up with cold, icy snow! No matter how cold we got, we still had heaps of fun!

  3. What I enjoyed most about the snow was the overall experience. I loved it because I got to see the smiles of the people who had never had an experience with snow before.

  8. The snow was very cold. I am glad that I was wearing the right clothing. My favourite part would be sliding down the hill.

  9. Everyone had a lot of fun in the snow especially the people who had never touched the snow before. I know I loved the snow. The only thing I didn't like was snow balls thrown at me because I didn't want to get wet.

  10. This was my first time in the snow and I LOVED it! I loved sliding down the little hill and building a mini snowman. I forgot my gloves so my hands were freezing, from that experiment I will remember my gloves any other time I visit the snow.

  14. IT WAS FREEZING! The snow was so cold, good thing we all had appropriate clothing. Apart from the snow being super cold I had a good time. My favourite part was when I raced up the top and then accidentally slipped down. Overall I had an amazing time.

  16. To get to Whakapapa and see all this snow, was definitely worth the wait even if we a face full of icy snow couldn't make us enjoy it less. The best part of it was the big slope, that when ever I ran up I got a leg stuck in between the rocks. But the advantage for hitting people with snowballs was all worth the time digging out.
