Sport with Grant

Every Wednesday afternoon, the two senior classes play sport with Grant.  This week we played softball and volleyball.  In softball we learnt how to bat as well as field.  The rules of batting were simple. All we had to do was keep our hands together, not drop the bat on the base, not throw the bat, not hit the ball into foul ball area and swing the bat fast.  Both classes had already learnt how to play volleyball so it was more of a friendzie game.  Both classes got to have a turn at each sport and really enjoyed it.

Printmaking

This week in our Art lesson, we used our Lino Cuts again to create prints. We were able to work with others to create mixed designs. It was fun experimenting with more colours and we were really pleased with the results.

Magpies Fun Day

10 St Mary's students were lucky enough to to get the opportunity to meet the Magpies through a kind offer from Nimons Bus Company. We really enjoyed the experience of hanging out with them, getting autographs, having a free lunch and watching them train.

Volleyball

Over the past weeks we have been developing our Volleyball skills. We got to play Volleyball games with our classmates. All our skills we have learnt have payed off. Everyone enjoyed participating and developing new skills.
