  5. Tapuwae is a really fun opportunity for the students to go outside and run around.around and to have fun with all there mates and joining classes to see who is the best.Room three is the best but not for long.Next week we are going to have 2 balls playing so I think that room one has a chance of winning

  8. It was an amazing time for all of us including those that got into it, even though they didn't want to.
It is an amazing game to play that no matter how many players it always ends up as a ball of fun.

  11. Tapuwae is a great game. I've learn't loads from playing it, Tapuwae is like a cross between netball and soccer, because you can run with the ball and you mostly hold the ball. So it's like playing Soccer with your hands.

  13. Before starting to play tapuwae, I had no idea that such a thing even existed. Our games started easy but then got harder each week as we added in thirds. In one third you can run with the ball and in the other 2, you can only catch and pass the ball.

Yesterdays game was very fun even though unfortunately room 1 lost. Tapuwae is a great way of getting fit and doing PE. I'm glad that grant has introduced Tapuwae to us this term!

  14. Tapuwae is such a cool game. It's an old Maori game. My favourite position is defence because I love ripping the ball from people, when it's on the ground of course.

  15. I really enjoyed this game because it is really fun to play with your friends and that everyone gets a turn. Playing this game has helped me with my hand co - ordination. It helps you get fit by running. It is also great because you work as a team not just an individual. I can't wait to play again next Thursday and try it with two balls.
